Tankwagen couplings

This Tankwagen coupling has a seal providing sealing, a die-cast (not moulded) lever ring for better mechanical resistance, and closing notches for resisting vibrations.

Coupling is achieved by combining a MK (Mutter Kupplung: female coupling) lever coupling with a VK (Vatter Kupplung: male coupling) coupling with the same diameter. The two couplings apply pressure one to another through a lever. This coupling system is fast and secure due to a tightening lever, a tightening which does not require any spanner or other tool, being done by hand.

The threads of the fittings comply with EN ISO 228.1 BSP. These fittings eliminate leaks of liquid or compressed air when passing through the pipe.
